Looks real good. Nice 1st car too. take care of her.. I got the same tires (sumitomos) from tire rack this summer. I love em, although I haven't layed down any 50 ft black marks with them yet!! But so far they on par with the goodyears that came stock on mine.. ;)

You read my mind! I'm going to get a shorty antenna and lowering springs in the near future. I personally don't like the after market look of smoked headlights, I'm going to get projector headlights instead. http://www.americanmuscle.com/94-04-...rojectors.html Other things I've done to the car include new speakers (Polk), dual exhaust (Jegs kit), and a cold air intake (ebay). Check out the customer product images on American Muscle. :P http://www.americanmuscle.com/17x9-d...tt-chrome.html http://www.americanmuscle.com/sumito...275-40-17.html http://www.americanmuscle.com/bucecap.html Here's a picture of the dual exhaust I got from Jegs. I'm thinking of replacing the mufflers that came with the kit with some flowmaster 40 series, but don't know if it would be worth it. You can see me hunched over sitting on my ass taking the picture in the bumper. lol http://img183.imageshack.us/img183/3706/img0443jx6.jpg |
dont get projector headlights there ugly imo.
|
Nice car! Mine is the same color. :breakdancesmilie:

ahhh!!! painting the calipers, one of the best "do-it-yourself-for-a-cheap-price-because it-makes-your-wheels-stand-out-more-and-makes-your-car-look-different" mod!!!:D nice car!
|
I like it. Always been a fan of mach wheels. Get some springs and you'll be set :smokin:
|
I love that color. Nice stang
|
Just put another $150 into the car.
-New Third Brake Light. (Mine was all faded and scratched up on the top) http://www.americanmuscle.com/3rd-br...904-black.html -14 inch Shorty Antenna. http://www.americanmuscle.com/14in-antenna.html -Ford Racing Bullitt Pedals. http://www.americanmuscle.com/forabupea.html Now all I have left is the expensive things like new mufflers and lowering springs. Paying for the install labor on both is really gonna suck. |
You can do the springs yourself, not hard to do at all.

I was told that it is very dangerous to install springs because they are installed under pressure or some junk like that, so it's best to let a professional handle it. Now I don't know if that's true. Anyone done it before?

Next time you need tires, go with 255's on the front and it wouldn't rub.

What kind of paint did you use on the calipers; they look good.

Doesn't the rubbing stop once you put springs in?

I bought it at my local Auto store for around $20. It's really thick stuff, but drys pretty fast so I put 2 coats on. I still have a ton left too, enough to repaint all 4 calipers many more times. I noticed American Muscle has it too. http://www.americanmuscle.com/duplic...per-paint.html It looks like some paint ran down onto the brake pads, but my pads are stained with some sort of silver something. You can see it in the last image of my original post. |
Just bought some more toys for the car.
-sequential turn signal lights (Webelectric plug and play) -chin spoiler -buillitt pedals bringing the total mod list to: -cold air intake -black chin spoiler -8" black shorty antenna -buillitt pedals -LED third brake light -polk 6x8 speakers -dynamat -dual exhaust w/ new mufflers -chrome tips -chrome mach 1 wheels -new tires -silver painted brake calipers -sequential turn lights |
Lets see some pics when you get that stuff installed :D
