Omg! Wtf?!

So, I finally had a chance to go out and take a look around for another 'Stang.. What was one of the finds? Unfortunately.. This one.

hahah wow

Shambles 07-22-2007 09:17 PM

Ouch...

Why would you do that to a 99...

Tis a shame.

TJeffer3 07-22-2007 09:45 PM

WTF. Could have done w/o the stripe

wnracing 07-22-2007 09:54 PM

Im actually tempted to go talk to them about it and see if I can get a dirt cheap price on the car.. Why? Well, obviously the 'mods' have to decrease the value of the car.. Plus, thank god the stripes are just stickers and the wheels can be changed.. Hell, I still have my Cobra R's in the garage.. :boink:

'eh, P.P. Value for the '99 Cobra is about $10,000 @ best. Im not sure how many miles it has, so Im gonna go check it out tomorrow. Maybe it has fairly low miles and I can get a steal on it. :salook:

Ghostalker 07-22-2007 10:07 PM

lol
it is wearing suspenders

LOOT 07-22-2007 10:48 PM

lol.. if you can pick it up cheap wear a ski mask when you drive it home and pull it in the garage and close the door. hehe.. Don't open the door till it's fixed. hehe... There is a newish GT mustang near me at a dealer with hideous flames on it. I'll try to get a pic soon. lol...

venom 07-23-2007 05:21 AM

That is just horrible and I would use that to negotiate the price plus ask them to lower it even more as you dont want the wheels.

Yeah the bad thing is most dealers will try to use those hideous "upgrades" as a selling pitch. "This car has expensive aftermarket wheels! That alone is why we have to ask more!" they will say... lol..
Go back to see them after it has sat on their lot for a few weeks and people laugh at it and they'll talk differently. hehe...
You know... I know I have to say I actually feel sorry for that car. It's kinda like a dog that's been mistreated. It needs a good loving home. It needs it's dignity restored. lol

SxyXc 07-23-2007 02:07 PM

I have some really preety 99 cobra rims that would be perfect for the 99 cobra, to bad the car "upgraded"

zigzaggthefag321 07-23-2007 02:53 PM

yuk! Cobra killer...whoever did that to that car.

StormsGT 07-23-2007 03:18 PM

doobie 07-23-2007 04:53 PM

if anything, just print this thread and take it in there with you. im sure itll be a good bargaining chip :)

btw those wheels make me want to vomit :shakeno:

White04GT 07-24-2007 10:13 AM

I'd pass on that car..the 99 cobra's are slow. A buddy at work has a 99 with intake and catback and raced my Auto GT full exhaust/intake/tb/plenum/dyno tune and I put like 8 cars on him all 3 times we raced. And that is with my 2 12" rockford fosgate p3's and my heavy ass 1500 watt amp.

SxyXc 07-24-2007 01:05 PM

did your friend have the performance recall??

LOOT 07-24-2007 02:11 PM

Anybody here have the august 2007 issue of Mustangs and Fast Fords? There is a rediculous looking 97 Cobra on page 289.

yellowstang99 07-24-2007 02:13 PM

Take off the stripes and wheels, and put your cobra r's on and it would be a nice car. Oh, and change the door pins...As sick looking as they are, I'm sure someone would buy them wheels off you. Let us know what you do...

??? explain in more detail please....

SxyXc 07-24-2007 02:56 PM

performance mod, un in 99 ford did something wropng on the cobras witht eh intake and i think exhaust. it never really made the realt 320 hp.. ford did a really big recal where they changed the intake, and exhaust, and i think 1 more thing. and then it made the 320.. you can tell by if it has a blue or green dot on the driver side of the intake. here is a picutre of it..

arodriguez05 07-26-2007 09:16 PM
