Your buddy needs to lower his as it looks like a 4x4 and makes the wheels look crappy. Im sure once lowered the wheels will look alot better.

I like 20's on S197's. As long as they are specific for mustangs.

thanks guys! he got a huge bargain on the wheels and tires someone at NTB ordered them and couldn't afford them so NTB ended up with them and needed to get rid of them so my friend picked them up brand new for $1000 out the door and they put them on the car for him.. there shebly special edition.. i forget the whole name but damn good deal for a set of 20's with tires!

I personally like them, if they are "Shelby Special Editions" then they are probably lighter than most 20's. Plus, its not like he goes to the track every day.

I still don't get why someone would spend $28k on a new GT, then cram 20 inchers on it and end of with a 14 second car instead of a mid 13 second car. Every time I see rims that hard, I think of SLOW.....like driving with a parachute dragging out the back.

BUT, I guess some people are into the look and that is what they want.

Nope.....did not notice it was a V-6....I guess I did not consider anyone would put 20's on a sixer. To each their own.

We all customize our cars to fit our own desires and we don't have to please anyone but ourselves. Otherwise, everyone's cars would look the same. But, when people ask "hey, what do you think?", you are going to get answers.

I like the way the 20's look, I just can't see doing something to a sports car to make it slower. Especially since many guys throw-on big rims and then in the next breadth they are wondering how much power they can add with a throttle body or something similar.

Anyway, we all know that tire and rim tastes are getting bigger. It was not that much long ago that 17's were considered huge. That's right, imagine that.
