Not sure why someone would have to climb over it since as soon as you pull up on it the handle then goes back down out of the way. To release it you simply pull the handle back up, push the button in and and it releases and again goes back down out of the way. I could never figure out why they put it there either but I guess due to the design of trannie and the mid engine with the center console there it must have been better and more room for it on the drivers side. Never had a problem with it on any of mine and never heard of a problem with anyone else so never really thought about it much.

Well I guess my friends brothers was broken then cause it stayed up. Either way it's a dumb design.

Yeah good luck living off the interest of $250,000.

I mean I am happy for you that you are making a descent amount of cabbage off star trek stuff. But $250K isnt much when you are talking about your liquid assets at retirement.

wyldpny 06-21-2007 12:45 PM

Well, thats about $1,500 a month in interest and added my wifes retirement which is about $2,000 a month thats not a bad chunk a change. We own everything and have no bills except the electric, cable, etc. In PR we have no need for heat obviously and our house is built in a way where the sun doesn't bake it all day so it stays fairly cool so A/C doesn't need to be on all the time. I think we will be fine ;)

Thats probably doable since he lives in Puerto Rico. Now doing that in the states, most likely not.

zigzagg321, if answering questions and telling a bit about myself suddenly becomes annoying to you then just don't click on the thread anymore.

I don't live there yet, though we do have a house there now.
I just have to finish out the year at work here in NH, finish the book and selling off the collection. Then finish getting the cars I am keeping shipped down there.
Your right 00blkstanggt that the cost of living is less down there. It's a warm 85 all year round with an ocean breeze, unlike places like Florida where it's chilly in the winter and extremely hot in the summer. Not to mention all the condos, tourists and how expensive everything is in Florida.

damn those stripes are hideous!!

PColav6 06-27-2007 06:41 PM

rofl zig.

It would look better with just that big stripe on the hood, and not the other ones.

And black wheels :boink:

I take it your not a fan of the GT/Boss/Shinoda (etc.) style stripes?
Well I am.. so I guess it's a good thing that they are on my stang then and not yours :D

Remember that these are decals...so if I ever change my mind or want to change it a bit, go back to no decals at all or maybe even go with something totally different...

And black wheels :boink:
Now your talking. Some 18" Bullitt style black rims with a polished lip :boink:

gold stripes = :kekekegay:

if those are supposed to be Boss or shinoda stripes...you gotta giant GT on the hood.

now if the car was white and the stripes were blue it would look better.

wyldpny 06-28-2007 06:16 AM

Your reading abilities certainly hasn't gotten any better thats for sure.
I said they were that style. And do you know why it says GT on the hood and not Boss or Shinoda or something else? Let me help you out here....now think for a minute....come on you can do it.....thats right, my Stang is a GT. Imagine having GT on the hood of a GT. But hey, if you don't like them thats fine.
It's your opinion and your welcome to it but it's just that, your opinion.
It is however my car afterall and I will do with it as I like :tongueout:

Mug11 06-28-2007 06:25 AM

so gold is the new lime green?

00blkstanggt 06-28-2007 12:02 PM

If your gonna be entering the stang in contests and stuff, you gotta have that thing lowered and on some nice rims. That doesn't look like any kind of show car.

your fvcking gay...you said they were BOSS /SHINODA stripes...its a GT. thats my point.

yeah my reading abilities suck...thats why before I finished HS I had two years worth of college english classes completed. jackass.

yeah it is your car and you can make it as ugly as you want to.

LOL Your kidding right? Wow, some of the comments posted on this supposed Mustang forum sound more like they were posted by kids from an import/custom compact forum.

Guess you missed the part where it took first place... so I think I will take that as a compliment and as a fact that it is a show car over your less than brilliant observation ;)

Yeah, thats it..I'm gay because your too stupid to read and understand an entire post. Maybe you should retake those english classes again :kekekegay:

But since you still can't seem to go back and reread my post correctly I have quoted it here just for you zigmeister.

Note the word "style" in there Mr. college genius.

And yes, your absolutely right.. it is my car. So if you don't like it, simply stop trolling in my thread.

oh, sorry the Boss Shinoda "style" stripes looked bad IMO...waaa...huge gold stripes...giant puffy GT logo on the hood...yeah no thanks.

but remember...it's JMO...you dont care...you like it...so relax.

caballo 06-28-2007 06:09 PM

Upon further review of the vehicle in question I would HIGHLY recommend a hood stripe that followed the contour of the hood's center, instead of just a straight stripe like what you have there and then having the accessory stripes a lil' closer together...

I'm going to actually be doing something (vaguely) similar to my new edge. (I'm thinkin' ol'skewl) I can't decide as to whether or not to get my BB's repainted gold (a la 40th AP) or stay black...
