well damnit you should have! they also have several C/S editons over at my work two black one a convertible and one not and also a white convertible one. But the C/S edition doesnt impress me much.

anyways, luck you for cleaning a shelby gt. lol. ive seen a few around here and im not impressed with the whole auto only thing, ive pulled one and he stayed ahead of me by a nose. not that impressed

but i have to say it.....................WHITE FTMFW!!!

i wasnt lucky enough to clean. im in the used car department that was a new car which was 3 bays down from me.

I agree, it is a lame excuse to make some extra bucks by barely upgrading a GT and throwing the shelby name on it. Glad you made the right decision lance.

Actually its only 19hp but who is counting.

If you can get a Shelby GT with no markup they are not a bad deal. If memory serves the "shelby" package is like 7500 or so.

You get body work, performance, suspension, rear end work, short shifter, the shelby name. It would cost you about 7K to reproduce one and it wouldnt be authentic.

Besides in just resale value alone you would get back all if not more than the 7K over time.

Looks nice might have to add something in the engine to spice it up.

Lance if you had a chance to buy a Shelby with no markup you should of done it put it on ebay and make a couple of grand of it

There was a pretty sweet lookin' one at a local "weekly" gathering of all kinds of cars. I'll try to snap a picture of it this Friday and post it up.

You guys need to hear this car in person, whoever was in charge of the exhaust at ford, gets a freaking high five from me. Stock sounds AMAZING.
