Subframe Connector's install gone wrong!!!
holy hell...that does suck for him; but people that do welding for SFC's and dont know WTF they are doing these are the results. Such a shame!!
one of the very reasons Ive held out on subframes this long.
My insurance company paid to install mines...:salook:...sucks for that guy though...
He must have welded in one spot just a wee bit too long. Thats hard to do really superheating the floorboard so the rug catches on fire. Melting the rug is one thing but setting it on fire is another.
ida put the ground clamp on his balls shoved the rod up his ass and flipped the switch
its called stich welding, i dont think he knows what that is. lol sad to see that happen to a nice car.

...even if he was just going with a normal arc or a mig...its pretty hard to catch it on fire.. makes me wonder how high he set his generator ;x
That really sucks and i hope that guy gets his ride together but dont tell me no one else read this comment:
So how do the welds look? :GotPics:
damn that sucks
...most smart people and good welders would remove anything in that area that could be a possible hazard...obviously not this guy. I watched a friends f150 on bags set on fire cause the boy doing the welding didnt listen when we told him to peel back the carpet and all before he welded in the spark bloxs.
Had the welder guy said that to me...well lets just say he'd better have a REAL good dental policy. what a fvcktard!
I thought the factory carpets that come in our cars are flameproof? Like if you try and burn it they just melt not catch on fire. Its like a plastic material i forget the name...polyester?
