87 GT,,GT40 crate motor, scored the Holley Systemax kit,,,been working on unhooking things. Motor and tranny coming out Saturday.

Ok, sent out the upper and lower to be powdercoated. Turned out pretty good. Took the sander to the wording of the upper and this is my result.

It's just hared getting anything done with a newborn. Two weeks old. Trying to help out the wife as much as possible. I work on the car when they are asleep.

Wow, thats wierd.

I got a kid on the way, im ditching the 04 in liu of a 5.0 that i plan to do an engine and tranny swap for a 351, the child will be a few months old when i start.

and to top it off, im bald with a beard.

i feel like im lookin in the future.

Haaaaaaa. I wouldn't have it any other way. The baby is our second and so far, so good. Just got done hot mopping the garage and putting some stuff away. Im sure my neighbors really like looking at my car with the hood on the roof (I moved her out of the garage so I can get the Xmas crap out of the attic tomorrow.)

Clutch looks like shizit/flywheel not to bad. Took the heads off and it looks pretty good in the cylinders. The crosshatching is still quite visible. Supposedly there is only 50k miles on the GT40 crate motor. I'll be putting up pics tomorrow and hope to start cleaning the engine bay soon.

Gonna ask Santa for a Canton Windage Tray for Xmas.

I find it tough just to find time to wash my cars. lol

Ok, she's out and let the fun begin. Oiled some rags down and stuffed them in the bores. Only thing I've accomplished so far is scraping gasket material off one side. Pics from when she came out of the car.
