Default Chrome locking Lug Nut Set

I just received my Chrome lug nut set from MT. My problem is that it appears that the bolt tops from the wheel hub will be exposed. Are these for drag racing or "quick change" pit stop use? When I bought them, I thought they would be the right thing to get with my new rims.

Does anyone have pics that show this set on their wheels? Or could someone explain the design...(opened hex tops)???

Confused..

Default Venom stricks first!

Thanks for the quick reply. They look good on your wheels but how do you think they will look on a set of Chrome Bullitt wheels??

I'd like to get some of the actual bullet style lug nuts sometime. I think that would be a cool touch

They are chrome, but one thing I noticed you can see rust on the inside could be just the studs.

I got these on mine. I think they will go good with yours, or anybodies for that matter.

Yeah, Chris was nice enough to take them back...I told him to hold a "store credit" for me. I know I'll buy something else on this site but that style lug nut won't work with Bullitt rims (looks wise).
