i am wanting a camera, but have absolutely no clue of what kind to get. my spending range would be about up to $200

any canon cameras are good. My buddy got a Canon Powershot SD630 and the pictures it takes are amazing. Its a little over the amount of money you said.. i think you can get a new one from amazon.com for like $270

Look into anything by canon. great priced and great quality.

do research then search ebay for a "new" one

got mine for 205 and it was a 450 dollar camera at Best Buy

get a throw away camera... then you could buy like 50 of them

I got a Canon Powershot A510 about a year ago for $150 at Best Buy. It's damn nice and a 3.2MP, but going to upgrade soon.

I'd save a little more money and look for a good 5-8 Megapixel with some hefty optical zoom.

But yeah, Canon or Casio. They're both Great brands..

I just bought my girl friend a Panasonic Lumix 6.0 (FX01). Its easy to use, takes great pictures, and has a lot of options.
