Don't know if anyone saw anything on the weather channel about all the rain the midwest got last week, but we got it bad. Just going to post a few pics, but you can get an idea of how bad it was...not pictured is the 18in. of water in our fully furnished basement. The water was all the way around the house. I'm located on the southern Indiana/Kentucky border. First the flood pics...

Out the front door, water was up to front step.

JLT RAI from right here at MT, and professional products upper plenum and 75mm TB. Couldn't find pics of old chrome inner fender mac intake to post appearance difference. Definitely like this intake alot better.

1993 chevy s10 with 103,000 miles i picked up off my boss. He pampered it, but i did buff and wax it to revive the color a bit just before i took these photos. Thats about it though. Thought it would make a good daily driver.

sucks that the stang is sitting thier in that water. and as for the daily driver :jawdrop: that thing is clean:worship2:

Yeah thats some stuff, To be honest with you, our houses dont even flood like that here in Miami where I live, Maybe older neighborhoods, but you should complaint to your city and have them build better draining systems so floods like that happen. Did your house have flood insurance too?, because if you did you can collect a nice bag of bread with what happened. But wow still in shock with how flooded you guys got.

Damn, i would hate to see what the basement looks like.

that sucks about the flooding. but man you need to clean that engine so its shiney like you intake!

SpinMedia: The whole southeast side of town here floods when we get heavy rains like that. Been complaining to the city for 20 years now and nothing has been done. It is an old sewer system which only has a 10in. round pipe to carry away the water and that just isn't big enough. They are in the process of building a 750,000 gallon retaining unit to hold the water from the neighborhood and a pump station will pump it out. But the problem is how small the piping is taking the water to the retaining unit. Common sense should tell you that, but then again, we are talking about city officials who put this crap together. We have no flood insurance, a guy in the neighborhood does have it though and had 25,000 dollars worth of damage, and it getting 5,000 from his flood insurace. Its a load of BS.

Red281GT: Yeah, I know my engine bay is about the only dirty thing on the car. I clean it then 2 days later its dirty again. Not sure how it gets so dirty so quickly, I don't even drive it that much.

damn that sucks man.....i live in louisville and dont remember hearing anything about flooding up there in indiana.

What your neighbor needs is a private adjuster that he hires and talks with the insurance adjuster to get all the damages covered.

Yeah, I about crapped when I saw the car sitting in water. Had it gotten any higher, the jack stands would've had to come out. The water hasn't made it into the garage until now, just up to the doors of the garage. A lift would definitely be nice and would've come in handy!

I love the jlt. Didn't notice a lot of power difference, but a little, and the car seems to accelerate a bit smoother. The piping is huge on it, and being painted, it definitely cleans up the engine bay alot appearance wise for the people who don't have a lot of chrome in their engine bay. For the price, I'd definitely recommend picking it up!
