is that the california dream hood fonc? If it is then that is an awesome hood because it has functional hood scoops. i'm thinking about that one myself.

Maybe it's just me, but they look different... I don't know if it's the angle or what, but the first one looks like it's more raised than Lance's pic. Has more of a Cowl look.. Either way, they both look great!

Not trying to be a smart ass, but what exactly is the meaning of a "functional hood scoop"? Is letting air into the engine compartment considered a functional scoop? or does some sort of vent or scoop have to be attached to the intake in order for it to be functional??

Functional - Scoops actually feed into the engine bay, scoops on SN95's are functional, scoops on our GT's are not.
Functional Ram-Air- Feeds into an air box, like the mach 1 scoop, and few aftermarket hoods. (Stormin' Norman from cervinis)
This particular one looks like it would only be funtional if it were on a 99-04... but since the airbox is right up front on the 05+ it is prolly ram-air.

That makes sense....I was confusing ram air with functional scoops...

I have both, on my truck a ram air hood,brings air to the CAI and On my stang heat extractor. As long as its doing one of the two its functional.

thats the best hood i've seen so far for the 05+ and the only one i would actually consider buying.(Now feel free to show me a better one)
