Installed my rear honeycomb panel, tail and headlight tint, not sure I like the headlight covers? What-a-think? Keep 'em?

00mustang_crazy00 05-04-2006 05:32 PM

i dunno ive never been a fan of blackout headlights but if YOU like them keep'em

B-rett 05-04-2006 05:44 PM

i like em i just dont like havin to take them off at night wen i had mine

dfroster 05-04-2006 06:01 PM

These don't come off, their film. I just don't like the fact they look cloudy when you turn the lights on, maybe the glue needs to set-up more? Anyone else have these? The rear are clear as can be.

BlitzStyrke 05-04-2006 07:10 PM

Is that really legal where you live? I bet I would get nailed with blacked out headlights.

whitethunder46 05-04-2006 07:27 PM

i saw a 350Z with blacked out headlights the other day, the car was black as well and looked SWEET. with that said, I think it only looks good on a black car.

And thanks for helping me make up my mind on the percentage for the taillights.

GREG@94GT 05-04-2006 07:48 PM

looks great... will look better with some more black on the body... maybe some stripes...

props bud :beerchug:

Grimmz 05-04-2006 08:32 PM

That rear looks REAL nice with all the Black, but idk bout those headlights, i can see how they can be really dangerous at night...

PureStang 05-06-2006 07:39 PM

i think that u need to get the black out tails...the whole red showing is killin ur black and white theme..

the headlights are most likely illegal....so take them off and get some clear corners and that will match ur theme much better while keeping visability at night

00mustang_crazy00 05-06-2006 08:09 PM

i second the clear corner idea

Lances03SVT 05-06-2006 08:17 PM

Just buy the plastic headlight covers and remove them at night.

I like the rear.

You can. They make a kit just for them!!

Must See 05-06-2006 08:52 PM

Lances03SVT 05-06-2006 08:55 PM

They don't sell the other kit.

I've seen it somewhere though. It also has a V6 emblem in it.

Must See 05-06-2006 08:55 PM

Get some Smoked headlights

matrixpuba 05-07-2006 02:55 PM

everything looks good, but i would have done the smoked headlights instead

dfroster 05-07-2006 04:38 PM

They are smoked! do they look real black? I note that the rear isn't as dark as it looks in person. The sun was shining at the back when I took the pic so maybe the rear looks light and the front darker?idk. The reason I got the film over the plassic was to protect from bugs, rocks ect...I don't want to have to take off! As far s legal...I don't care, I wont get a ticket anywere in Jax.:devil2:
