Default out with the old, in with the new!!

Had a day off so it was time to install my new intake.
BBK intake,75mm tb
C&L 85mm maf with flowtube.
pulls like a sob @3500rpm+.
was just going to put a steeda cold air kit on, man am glad I went this way!!!
One guestion maybe someone can answer...when I come to a stop it will remain @ 1000-1100rpm's for a few seconds then drop to normal, I thought it was doing this after my x-pipe went on but don't drive the car alot and just fig'ed it was me. Anyone else have this happen?
Damn UPS just showed up. New 4bolt steeda cam/caster plates are here!! Now I have something to do tomorrow.

The idle thing, thats pretty normal with tb/plenum setups, some cars learn it and correct it, some peoples just does that forever.

Yea, I've heard that before. It's no big deal. I plan to mess with my Xcal when i can get to a dyno and retune, maybe that will help as well. Thanks for reply, always puts my mind at ease when I know it's normal!

Watch that C&L Maf....it will tend to lean you up and may cause drivability problems. A lot of tuners hate those things.

Ive seen a lot of throttle body/plenum combos do that. Mine does it too, on cold days itll be 1000-1100 untill it warms up. Also on revs or coming to an idle it will hang at 1000 for a couple seconds then drop back down.

That's the main reason I want to put the car on a dyno, to check my a/f. C&L claims...and I repeat claims, the maf will not cause any problems like that. I have an xcal2 and will update the tune this weekend(download from them). The car runs great with the mods, really surpised me.
