I think they can. The ravens and the eagles defense both stepped up when they needed to, but it was their worthless offenses that didn't deliver the finishing punch! The steelers on the other hand have a very good defense and a stout offense! I say Worthlisberger sticks it to the pats and bilichik (spelling)...

You really think the Colts winning/Peyton Manning was a fluke? Peyton Manning is a damn good quarterback and so is the rest of the team. Check his stats, once this season is over he will have had 8 out of 10 seasons with passing for over 4,000 yards. I can't wait until the Colts meet the Pats in the playoffs and hand them their ass.

Billichick owns Manning. also, yes the Colts were a fluke because last year they had the leagues worst rush defense, and gave up 300 yds to Jacksonville, then they got lucky at the right time and manged to play some good defense to win the Super Bowl....F-L-U-K-E....just like when the Ravens won the Super Bowl, ain't been back since.

Pats will own Manning and the Colts again in the Playoffs.

Colts haven't won in NE since before Brady, and the road to the Super Bowl will go through NE in the AFC.

and 7 out of those 10 didn't include a Super Bowl appearance or a Super Bowl win...only 1 out of 10 was SB Appearance and WIn.

Brady may be playing better then Manning this year, but I wouldn't call him better. Brady doesn't read defenses like Manning does and he still wears his little play sheet on his forearm. What he can't memorize all the plays.

are you joking me? Brady has 3 Super Bowl rings!!! Manning has 1. and to boot, Brady has beaten Manning in so many playoff games, it's not even funny! Brady has won 3 out of 4 AFC Championship Games Against Manning!

Manning got lucky...just like Trent Dilfer did when he was with the Ravens. Manning is a 1 pump chump and done.

i was guessing on the pro bowls...but so what he still has more Super Bowls than Manning...and that's what matters.

this is Brady's 7th year as a starter, and to date he already has 192 TD's, and the season's not over.

this is Manning's 10th season and he just now passed the 300 TD mark.

Brady will shatter that mark as well, and probably before his 10th year.

for the record, i am not on the patriots bandwagon...i just think until someone beats them in the regular season and in the playoffs this year, they're the best team with the best QB in the league. i respect what they've done, because all they do is win, and they have the #1 offense in the league. they are the favorite to win the Super Bowl this year, and until someone stops them, they will continue to be the favorite.

i think it's awesome for a team like the Patriots to have done what they've done in the era of free agency with win 3 Super Bowls in 4 years, and were in the playoffs all but one year (2002 Season), and went to the AFC Championship game last year and just came up short.

and please stop the well if they hadn't picked up Moss statements...that's a copout. They didn't have Moss last year, or Welker or Stallworth, and they still almost got to the Super Bowl with Gaffney, and Graham, and Watson, and some other no name wideouts. unfortunately the defense wasn't as solid as it needed to be to hold the Colts off the rest of that game...otherwise, Brady would have had SB Ring #4, and been on his way to #5 this year...but that's ok, because honestly, it's just prolonging the inevitable.

I doubt Brady will shatter 300 TDs before season 10. Even if he finishes with 200 after this season, he would still need 33 TDs each season for the next 3 years just to hit 300. Don't think he will all of a sudden start throwing 40+ TDs a season from now on. They will eventually have to start producing somewhat of a run game. And I don't use Moss as a copout for the whole team being good. I was just saying Bradys numbers as well as Moss's suddenly shot up since coming to New England. Moss did nothing while on the Raiders and now he's good again cause he has a quarterback. I will give credit where credit is due and the Patriots are a good team, but you seem to put everyone else down or say everything was just a fluke. I don't care how many times someone or some team beat another team. That doesn't mean crap. You can beat a team 10 times out of 10, but doesn't guarantee you will the 11th time.

depends on the game. if they play the Dolphins, Jets, or Giants, to the wire, and it comes down to a field goal and the Pats miss it...no im not gonna say they got their ass handed to them, because they only lost by a field goal. or if it's a close game in general, and they come up short, or some bs ref call causes them to the lose the game. (like the one that cost the Titans yesterday against the Chargers on 4th down)...that call was bs.

but if one of those teams blows them out and does hand their ass to them then sure i'll be the first to say the other team beat there ass.

hell Baltimore controlled them all week last week, but NE still came out with the victory...and that's what a damn good team does when it counts.

but if you look back over our recent posts..it was about Brady being better than Manning...and you can't deny that. He is better overall.
