With the way college football has gone this year, I'd say anything is possible. Don't be to sure of yourself just yet. You can put up all the statistics you want, but that doesn't always mean crap.

Miz looked pretty good against Kansas, but like 00blkstanggt said....anything can happen.
I could list the NC and conference championships USC has, but that won't do them any good when it's game time. The whole national championship scenario sucks right now....I will admit it's probably good for college football for different teams to be in the NC game, but I honestly don't think a WV vs Miz will get much of a national audience. However, I don't want to see Ohio St make it in the NC game because I don't think they are very good and will probably get their ass kicked again this year. The game that will draw more hype than WV vs Miz is a Rose Bowl featuring USC vs Ohio St. That game would get way more attention. |

nah, i just put up the statistics to show the trends, and the history.
I used to live in Missouri, and as an OU and KU fan, I am very familiar with Missouri and their blunders. With MU, history has a way of repeating itself...they tend to be a victim of murphy's law...anything that can go wrong, will go wrong. |
those pictures are pretty funny. Maybe Miz will suprise you this time. I've only seen them play once and they looked pretty good to me. I to would almost always bet on the team with more experience in big games just because they are used to being there, but this year has been crazy so it wouldn't suprise me if Miz won the game.

After the MU/KU game, alot of the fans and some of the players were saying that KU was weak, and that MU exposed them for frauds. So with that said, how can you sit there and say you deserve to be #1, that you will win against OU, and expect to go to a championship game when MU themselves just said that they beat a "weak and fraudulent KU team?" and on top of that you only beat that "weak and fraudulent" KU team by 8 points? isn't that like a contradiction in terms? doesn't seem to make a lot of sense. but I'm gonna let the bastards brag all they want, karma has a way of coming around to smack the people that deserve right it in their face. OU is a darn good football team. they better bring their A game for this one. |
with how this season has been going I won't predict anything haha. Who knows what will happen

here's what I don't understand they've lost to OU once, but have won the rest of their games. They beat a #19 Texas Tech team, #2 Kansas, an unranked Texas A&M, and beat Illinois earlier in the season...other than that they haven't beat anyone other than that.

I hear what your saying about contradicting themselvs, but regardless Kansas was the #2 team in the nation voted on by the coaches/writers/BCS....Whether or not they were are fraud wasn't Miz's fault, they were still #2. I feel that Ohio St. is a complete fraud because they really don't play anyone except Michigan, but oh well. |

OU is currently a 3 point favorite. good they can let it all go to their heads, i haven't heard the same hype out of Oklahoma or their players...they're being really tight lipped this week. |
That's b/c we know it's going to be a rough game. They're a good team. We all think we're the better team, but no one here is looking forward to tangling with them again. That being said, everyone around here already has hotel reservations in Phoenix!

Missouri beat #2 Kansas, Illinois who is now ranked #15, Texas Tech who was ranked #24 when they played and is currently around 27 or so, Nebraska who was ranked #25 but went to shit. They held an very good offense in Texas Tech to 10 points. They also clobbered Colorado who beat Oklahoma, and also had a lead in the 4th quarter in Norman against Oklahoma. The only pretender in the Big 12 is Kansas.

But I agree they arent the 2nd best team in the country but its also not their fault alot of other teams lost multiple times to teams they shouldnt have. After losing to Illinois they dropped way down in the rankings and have moved back up because people have lost. |
