Just thought I'd drop a line and say hello to everyone here.
Just got my first Mustang on May 9th. Factory ordered Sonic Blue. Unfortunatly it's only a V6, I could have gotten a GT, but I have other priorities. I'm getting married next Sep, so saving is a big thing. My Father in law has a 99GT with a KB 14# SC....the thing is a beast. No mods done to mine yet....except for the racing stripe. We did it ourselves, took 16 freakin hours to do. A friend of ours deals with vinyl in regards to his business. We did the hood 4 times before we finally got it right, oh and we put the black vinyl between the rear lights as well. Here are a few pics ![]() ![]() ![]() |

It came out real good. I also did mine and took me about 8 hours. It is not hard but if you want it perfect it takes time.

keep in mind my center stripe is 23" wide!
it a hell of a lot easier to apply 2 10"-12" stipes. The wide material does not have as much give in it, and is very difficult to get it to shape with the hood/roof/trunk |

Looks real nice and if your gas prices are anything like ours the v6 was a smart choice. Does your father in law hang out on Modular Depot?

I meant hang out online, I know a guy on MD from Canada with a KB on his 00 GT. Thought it might be your father in-law. There are only 20 million of you up there so it has to be him, right?
