Default Hello from Kansas!

Unfortunately, don't own a Mustang at the moment. But have own three. The first, my favorite, was '65 2+2 fastback, 289 4bbl, 4sp. Drove that car everywhere it was possible. Parked it in a building in Wichita, Ks, while rebuilding the trans at the school I was attending. Left for the weekend, came back and the building was gone and the car. Never located it. Everyone was strangely dumb about what might have happened to it.
The second was a '69 coupe, 302, 2bbl, auto trans. Got it for 450.00 in Wichitaa, Ks, in 1979. Somebody had delt badly with the poor car. Spray painted the interior and the body white, and not an appropriate white, not even enamel. I think it was accually house paint. Then did a lace table clothe spray over on both doors and over the top. But the body was sound and the engine was good, a project car. Spent 9mos restoring the interior and over hauling the trans only to be taken out by a Sears delivery van on ice at an intersection. Not a lot left, went to parts.
The last, I accually traded a Rainbow vaccum cleaner and all atachments for a '67 coupe, 289, 2bbl, auto trans, with luminous blue paint, and original custom ordered interior. Rust got it in the driveway while I was working on the engine. Never buy a car without going over it with a good magnet. This was held together by wishes and body filler. It went to a guy with more money than sense and cheep. Since, Im smarter but poorer and havent had a 'Stang since. But some day, who knows. Still love the car! Would love to have the '65 back. What a car.
