Hopefully I can get some pointers on how to optimize performance, sell some parts, and add a little bit when I can.
Bought a 99 Cobra at an auction and really dig the way she ran, but condition of body mandated a change. Just following a dream. Don |

This is an old pic cuz I'm nearly finished. Building a 65 Replica of a Cobra from FFR. I feel at the heart it's still a Mustang. I've got some parts of the car left that I'd like to sell, but I have to post a bit more to prove I'm worthy. Mind you..I respect the site and am not posting just to meet the requirements. I only post when I run into a topic of interest. FWIW- it seems rather combative around here and at times a little disrespectful..., but that all comes with the territory. I'll add when I can and shut up when I must. Don |

Man, that is awesome! Ive never seen a 65 cobra replica in the stages of development, i bet she is gonna be a beauty!! Well ill bet you will have a lot of good things to add, you certainly seem to know what you are doing! as far as the post thing in order to list things on classifieds, it really just helps reduce the spammers. there are several people on here with thousands of posts i'd never buy from. I can see how that rule is a pain in the butt, but hey, im just a poster. personally if i was going to sell anything i would just go on craigslist.com.... that way yer dealing with local people, less chance of a scam cause you usually do the exchanges in person. |

Welcome to the site. Nice project! There was a guy on another board that built a cobra replica using an 03-04 terminator drivetrain.

I have followed his build (to my knowledge there's only one finished, but several building). He's got a great video of his dyno that maxed at 437hp. That's a ton of power for a 2600 lb vehicle.
I don't plan on that kind of power. I just did the Ride of a Lifetime over at TMS and it gave me a whole new respect for NASCAR. I used to think it was just driving in circles. I haven't cussed that much since high school. |

Welcome.
It'd be cool if you could do follow up posts with your project. I followed the Yellow SN65 project quite a bit. Its nice to see what people can do.
