4R70W Auto Trans, low miles, complete. Cheap

Hey kids.

Anyone got a mustang or a F-150 with an auto and you know you're going to smoke your tranny at some point? Wish you could have a second tranny in back stock just in case but, can't afford it or haven't found a deal worth jumping on?

Well, I just bought another 5.4L (from an 04 F-150) with it's 4R70W still attached. I don't need an auto but I have one and I want it gone.

it'll bolt right in to a 4.6 and I'm letting it go for 250 bucks or best offer. The truck had 34000 miles. The tranny was working like new up to the minute it was pulled.

i will take lowball offers as long as you have the money now. I need to move this in the next week or so.

Pickup in Livermore only. I might be able to meet you somewhere but it has to be reasonable and gas money for longer distances should be factored in.

I've been informed that this is actually a 4r75e. They started with them in 04 and they hold about 50lbs more tq than the 70W.

I need to get rid of this thing so even trades are welcome. I'm looking for supercharging enhancing goodies (coolers, injectors, headers, fuel rails, etc), lots of AN fittings and braided steel hose, an X-Cal2, cams, etc.. I'm building my car as an open road/DD. It's already got a full MM kit but I could use a good set of front and rear sway bars (no stock type).
