Hey guys im just wanting some honest opinions in here on what yall think i can get for my car. Its a 2002 Ford Mustang Gt with the following mods:

steeda short throw shifter
fat knob
mac off road h-pipe
2chamber flowmasters
indash dvd (pioneer)
punch 10's in the trunk
silverline tips
chrome deep dish bullits
sumitomo 315's out back
chipmaster revolutionary chip
zex nitrous kit 75 100 & 125 shot pills
3.73 gears
monster tac with tach adapter installed in dash
75mm throttle body
cold air intake
c&l true flow plenum
chrome ac and door knobs
mach 1 chin spoiler
msd tach driver
160 degree thermostat

the body is dang near perfect except for a small crease right behind the drivers side tire and the transmission grinds going into 3rd & 4th othr than that the car is dang near mint condition. the killer is it has almost 90k on it from driving from ft sill oklahoma to temple texas ever weekend it was in storage for the last year and i just got it out when i came from korea in september i have every receipt to the car but not like a car lot is going to care. I am not sure I want to get rid of it but just wandering what yall think it would go for if i tried to sell it to an indivisual.

Please be honest Im a big boy tell me what yall think it is worth in yalls opinion..........................thanks

Mabye 500-1000 over bluebook with your mods. you are better off parting the mods off and selling it stock or close.

KBB in Great condition - 10,300
KBB in Excelent condition - 11,200

So anywhere from 10,000 to mabye 12,000 if you are really lucky.

thats a little low i think i paid 13,500 for it april of 03, it had 40k on it then tho but i got a good deal on it paid cash, now i am hoping to atleast get that out of it i wonder if i can, in the autotrader magazine 02's are still going for 16 g's or should i try and take the nitrous off like it was never there and fix the tranny then try and sell it????

In the resale market you want it as close to stock as possible, people will generally not give you anything for the money you put into your car, plus when a car is ready to hit 100k it scares alot of people off, especially if you are already having mechanical problems. Cars with aftermarket parts can actually sell for less then the stock car because people don't want to buy someone else head ache. If you want to make some money then strip it back to stock sell the accessories at 50% and get rid of the car before it hits 100k

cars are the worst financial decision you can make. they depreciate in value, and the higher the mileage, the less they are worth to both the general public, and those lookin to buy something else. youll be lucky to sell that for 10g in my opinion. ive got an 01 with half the miles and mines only worth 12,100.

wow yall are right, its sad to say but since i've had the car ive put atleast $8,000 bucks into it, and now there is no way i could get what i put into it out, damn i didnt know that. I guess im stuck with it forever lol. I was thinking of selling it and getting a late model pickup something nice, but getting an older model fox body mustang cuz i will always own a mustang. 02's may be listed for 16g, but they arent selling for that. i have a practically brand new 04 gt with some mods, and i cant get rid of it for $16,900 right now...kinda sucks, ive had the car for a year and a few months, 20k miles, and it stickered at almost 27 brand new not to mention a few grand in simple mods...and im strugglin to sell it. if you get 10 for your car, esp with gear probs, you are lucky, honestly

02 Mustang GT with 20k miles, (actual) ford racing rims, BFGoodrich tires all around, brembo brake components, hawk performance pads, chrome interior peices, custom 4000 watt subwoofer system K&N Borla exhaust custom 93 octane tune and im sure im missing other stuff but a dealership tried to offer me 11,500 trade for a 05 mustang Gt I said fuuk you and walked out lol

wow 11500?!?! im amazed you were offered that much! yeah i almost bought a 06 roush stage 1, and the highest trade they would give me was 15,500 on mine, but they originally said 12500 and i was like WHAT?!?!?! i still said fook you and walked out anyways, glad i didnt buy that car, what a mistake that woulda been!

man this is sad, i thought i could get more for my car if i could have i was going to get rid of it but im like yall fook that lol i will keep my baby and continue to kick ass with it here in central texas.....oh and about the dvd player it is a kenwoold excelon kvt 815 in dash dvd i spent alot of money on it when i came back from iraq and hate i bought it. it folds out when u turn ur car on and folds in when u cut it off look at www.kenwood.com im sure you will see it i dont know how to post pictures of it but shoot me a price i would be willing to trade it for a regular cd player or something cuz now i dont really think something like that belongs in a mustang it blocks my ac guages when it is up lol but anywayz shoot me an email about it asa.thomas@us.army.mil
