Default FOR SALE: Nitrous Kit

ZEX Wet nitrous system (75-125) horsepower

I am selling my own nitrous kit because I want to put a different kit on it. The only reason I need a different one is because the ZEX kit isnt able to run progressivly the way I want it to. I am selling the full kit with bottle heater and purge system for 450.00. I dont have pics but it looks like any other nitrous kit you would buy. The bottle has only a couple small scratches on the side. The kit is 9 months old. It works fine but it uses a microswitch because the TPS switch went out. I have a bolt on 03 GT and it runs 12's with just the 75 shot.

450 bucks gets you enough power to take out a stock 03 cobra on the dragstrip.

I may be interested in this, but I don't know alot about NOS. I have a 98 GT, will this system work? What's the differance bewteen "wet" and "dry". How hard is it to install and what about the TPS switch? Do I need a new one? What is it? Thanks

The kit will work on just about any car really. This is a "Wet Kit". That means it sprays a mixture of nitrous and fuel into the intake using a small nozzle. A "dry" kit only sprays nitrous into the intake and gets more fuel through the injectors. I have all the fittings that came with the kit. You can either tap into your fuel line or use the schrader valve on your fuel rail if you have one. I used the valve because its way easier and clean looking. I like the wet kits better because they are easier to use since you dont have to worry so much about the injectors not responding and you dont have to worry about buying bigger ones. No you dont have to but a new TPS switch because mine is already converted to a microswitch. It works manually by the position of the throttle blade instead of the TPS signal. Oh and it took me about 3-4 hours to install it cleanly.

I just use the 75 shot now. You really dont need anything to use the kit unless you want to spray the 100 or 125 shot.Trust me Ive used it with the stock tune and stock fuel pump for about 7 months and it runs great every time. My stock pump got killed by a bad tank of gas so I put in a bigger one while I was in there. With a bigger pump you can run the 125 shot no problem with a custom tune. The 100 shot will work with the stock fuel pump. I ran the 100 shot for a couple days and it was fine with 93 octane and some octane booster. I raced a LS1 camaro SS with the 100 shot and just plain ole 93 octane. With just plain 93 in the tank I could hear it pinging but I still owned the camaro. After I heard it pinging I stepped back down to the 75 shot.
So basically If you want to run a 75 shot you dont need a tune, but if you want more then you need a tune or you might hurt the engine.

Well I paid over $1000 dollars for the entire setup so I feel $450 is a very fair price if not too good. I will entertain offers but please understand that I can't just give the kit away. I live in murfreesboro Tennessee. I will ship using whatever method you prefer, or you can come pick it up. If you live close enough we can install it on a sunday. Buyer pays for shipping. The box is about 3 feet long and 1 foot on each side. The entire setup probably weighs about 30- 40 pounds. I can take PAYPAL or a money order. If you come pick it up then cash is fine. No checks please.

Would you concider $450 but you pay the shipping? I'm not sure what that would be for you but I'm thinking around $400-$425.

Well its your lucky day. I went to the street legal races saturday night and won the domestic class. I won a trophy, $50 bucks cash, and free admission this weekend. I dropped in the 100 shot jets and it was a beast. The track is not a real strip and it isnt timed or anything so its more like the street. I beat out like 40 cars and beat another 03 GT with a 150 shot, no interior, and slicks to take home the win. I had a blast. The car was so powerful on that last run that the control arms were flexing bad (causing wheelhop) and I barely kept it on the track. If you can give me $450 its yours but I can't go any lower than that.

Yea thats what I mean. Sorry, I didnt give you a clear answer. You send $450, and ill cover the shipping. I'll PM you my address. As soon as I recieve the payment, I'll uninstall everything, clean, and ship it. Ill include all the instruction books and all the parts. Ill also give you a paper with info about what spark plugs to use, good places to mount everything, and maybe some pics of how I had mine setup. All that will help you out alot. I didnt get any help and I had to just learn from experience with it.
