K... special offer just for those local to me.
My neighbor brought me a 99 IRS assembly with new 4.10's on a recent freshening. The unit burned out a wheel bearing/knuckle assembly so the owner went to a solid axle (drag racer). The rest of the unit is in pristine shape and would make a fine addition for gt's or an incredible upgrade for v6 cars. Here's the deal: It's going to take about 1000 bucks between the IRS (750) and the wheel bearing (~120) and misc little bits (always plan a couple hundred just in case). If you buy it and you're in the SF Bay Area, I'll help you do the swap no charge. If you have a GT and want to donate your solid axle to me I'll gladly take it (I've got a project going... need another rear). It comes with everything we'll need to get it installed but if you can find a used cobra cat back that's really helpful. You'll end up with better handling than any stock 4-link mustang and in the case of v6 cars a MAJOR strength upgrade. I broke my IRS 3 times it's true but I'm exceptionally hard on cars and I was really trying to see what it'd take. If you don't try to damage it like I did, then it's a great option for street driven stangs or corner carvers. So there it is, 1000 bucks and I'll put an IRS in any 94-04 mustang that'll come to my house.

Well.. nothing for Jared. Anyone else? Cmon guys .... I'm including installation. I don't even do that for people I like with things this big. You're getting over 500 bucks in labor free.

Cali is a really long way for us geographically challenged folk but it sounds like a killer deal to me if I was in the area I would be on my way to your place right now
