Until I get my new house closed, I will be driving an Infiniti that I already own. Beyond that, I'm looking at lots of different things - used Corvette convertibles (that's right, I said the "C" word) and used Cobra convertibles.

If someone from one of the Mustang forums that I visit on a regular basis is SERIOUSLY interested in my car, I will work harder to sell it to someone that I know will appreciate it; as opposed to any regular Mustang consuming citizen out there.

For 12,000 dollars, I would sell my soul for that car... What is your time-frame, I know the bidding ends on the 19th, but is that overall or just for eBay?

Well, clarification here; the bidding STARTS at $12K, my reserve price (the price, when reached, that the sale will actually take place) is $13,500, still quite a deal. If it doesn't sell by the 19th, I will re-list it on eBay. My experience with eBay is that timing is everything. Let me know what you are thinking, if you are truly serious.

Well, 13,5k is still better than some of the cars I've seen for sale around here.

Nice car man. If you had it for sell last year, I would have bought it.

I learned this trick from Bill Clinton: I didn't say anything about time trials or test and tune!
Seriously, though, I've had the car just over 2.5 years. In that time, I've had the car to "test and tune" on 4 occasions. The car has put in a total of 20 runs on those 4 visits, give or take 2 runs. It's not like I beat the sh** out of it, or anything like that.
What can I say? I'm a 51 year-old Stockbroker and Grandfather (just recently, though!) that enjoys cars.
And, oh yeah, I almost forgot. The best run it ever put in was 13.85 @ 100.
And that was without power shifting the car!
Gotta love those locking differentials....

Thumbs up

Thats a really nice car. Wish I had the money cause i would pay probably a grand or two more for it. Thats the problem with GT's cause most people who drive them, drive them hard and race them, so you'll have to end up fixing what ever they did to the transmission. Try and not sell it for about...hmm...i say about 3 years and I'll have the money then.. :icon_thum

Yeah, I hear ya. It's an everyday driver, and I live 52 miles from where I work. Although, if it had fewer miles, it wouldn't be only $13,000, would it?
