I am kinda getting away from the car audio scene with my cars. My last vehicle was a jeep cherokee in between my mustang and now my 02 WRX, and there wasnt much to the audio so I bought an 12 inch alpine sub (model: SWR-1242D) and some cheap ebay amp. I ended up underpowering it a ton, so I then purchased my new Rockford Fosgate amp (Model: P550.2). BUT due to underpowering it for some time one of the voice coils in the sub has failed, so I only used the amp for 3 days. The sub needs a basic rebuild, which a speaker shop here in MI quoted me $63.50, and said it would take 2 days. I never got around to doing it because like I said, im done with car audio. SO I am looking to get rid of the sub and amp, and get some other things for my car.
