Default somebody is about to get helluva deal.

I've now got 3 sets of ported heads so I'm going to sell the one I won't use.

I'm selling a pretty heavily ported set that just came back after being in for porting for like 19 months. I got impatient the other day and bought a set of more radical heads so these are no longer useful to me. I'm going to include my stage 3 blower cams, a full set of sparkly lash adjusters, last adjuster shims (so you can get the added lift from the cam), roller finger followers, stock intake and exhaust valves, locks and retainers. I'm also going to include a NEW set of stock Ford head bolts for 2V. Basically you'll have to add high lift springs (or take the shims out and use stock springs), valve seals, assemble the parts... maybe get a valve job if you feel the need, and you'll have a helluva good top end for very little $$$.

Price is 650 + 50% of shipping. Shipping's going to be like 150 bucks so me picking up half should help. I'll have pics this weekend for serious buyers.

Very cool. Could I install the heads on my stock 2v engine and see some gains, or are these heads better used for a s/c engine.

Edit: I'm planning on Procharging my GT, so I'm thinking this would be a good start.

Porting usually get's you 10-15hp or so on the dyno with the stock cams.. maybe more, maybe less. You'll definitely see a bump though. The cams are best for a blower but they'll still do good work for NA cars.

stock pistons should be fine without the shims. with them you'll need a bigger dish in all probability.

Is this everything I would need to have them installed on a stock n/a 2v GT?

no. you'd need some gaskets, and you should do a valve job... maybe put in high lift springs. Stuff like that. Not a lot but enough to consider. Still.... machnjo beat ya' to it. You've got 3rd chance offer if everyone else backs out.

Shipping heads out today. Install parts (head bolts, lash adjusters, cams, shims, followers, locks, retainers, springs, valves) will be packed up tonight and sent in the morning.

Thanks machnjo. It's been a pleasure doing business. Posting pics of your new heads in a few minutes. Stay tuned.

Note to machnjo... if you want to use flat top pistons you can with these heads. The chambers have been hogged out pretty well so the compression ratio will around 11.4:1 (static) which is just at the limit of pump gas (91 octane... 93 can go a little higher). The chambers CC'd out at 48cc. With the cams included and a 5.4L block....you're going to crap your pants. That CR is at standard bore. It goes up to 11.5:1 with a .020 overbore.

The heads should hit your doorstep any day now. I've finally gotten all the shims together so I'll be sending the install stuff and cams tomorrow morning.

Enjoy.
