Default Feeler. Ported 2v heads.

Hey guys:

I've figured out that it's going to cost me about 1300 bucks to put the valvetrain I want in my newly ported heads. A stock valvetrain or even a little less aggressive would cut that more than in half. Still, I'm not comprimising on my motor so I've been pondering picking up a set of complete heads with a little more work done for a few hundred more and selling my heads.

Mine are Windsor heads with Romeo style ladder type cam caps, they've been hogged out extensively on intake and exhaust. You'll want to do a valve job to them and slap in whatever moving parts you like. I'll include a full set of stock stuff but you'll at minimum want to get new seals.

What kind of price point would make it attractive to you? If I get the right offer, I'll probably just say screw it and sell em and get new ones. Not looking for a bunch of money as you're going to have to put some into them to get them ready to rock but a few hundred seems fair to me. I've got about 800 into them so far but I don't think we'll even approach that number.

What valve and springs are in them, who ported them, any flow #'s?

right now there are not valves or springs in them. They're bare other than seats and guides which I asked him not to bung up since the heads were darn near new. A local guy ported them, he goes by XR8TED on the corral but his name is dave. They should flow about like a Patriot stage 2 (~210-215 @ .550) but I haven't had any official flow numbers delivered yet. Dave does a lot of race porting for the honda and subaru hard core guys. He does great work.

I'll include a full set of new OEM springs, a set of 4Kmile used springs, stock valves, locks, retainers and seals. The seals have been sitting and should be replaced. Everything else is pretty darn clean. I'll even toss in a set of PI cams if you want em.
