No they were not on my car. They were off of a centrifiguel blower car we had at our shop a couple months back. Decided i wanted to stay with the cams i got so i'm not using them. Yes you'll need some springs to go along with them.

How well would this set of cams work with nitrous? I'm sort of interested in them right now.

you wont see very much gains, since they are blower cams they have less overlap. But they won't hurt anything.

When you say custom grind, can you be more specific? How to they compare to something I might recognize?

i was told that the basic specs are from a comps stage 2 blower cams, and they're tweaked slightly.

Mug, I am thinking about either cams or LT's. I am concerned about making too much power on my stock block. I am thinking about these cams, I just wish I new more about them.

Are those re-grinds or 100% custom? Do you work for HP?

they are custom, not regrinds. My shop owner got these from HP a while back, as like alot of crap we got from them. As frar as too much power goes. If you're only at 375 at 9psi. Then with these or long tubes you'll make over 400 on the same amount of pressure. A stock block can handlue up to 450 as they say, so as long as you dont up the pressure with a smaller pulley, you should be good. |
