ASAP new and some ?'s

im new to Mustang Tunings forum, i ordered some wheels and a few other things just the other week and never even noticed they had a forum until then and so far i like what i see.

i take care of my car as much as i can with it being a daily driver and im really picky about **** and my wheels have always drove me crazy but they looked good when they were rollin and i got a deal on em and they were different at the time it seemed right. well i had a freak accident and well i wrecked my car and it was to ugly for me to take pictures to remember it by.
well i finaly got to replace em and im not goin to tell or show just yet but when i wrecked it i bent my axle didnt know it till i got it back. well insurance took forever the first time and i dont wanna wait and im goin to pay for the axle and do it myself. ive replaced axles in jeeps and yotas and stuff and i was just wondering what all do i need to replace one in a mustang? i mean i take it its close to the same but someone tell me a few places to order from all? all i need is a shaft and i was wandering how much it will run me and i also wanted to know the price on upgrade to 31 spline.

im sorry if its hard to understand im doing a few things at once but i think u got the point

oh yeah the wreck there was the first done by a friend (being stupid)

the one i just had messed up the passenger side door and shoved the rocker panel up under it --- but blame it on loose gravel on an exit ramp? why it was there noone knows but it got me

but the car is better than it has been except the axle

Ok, my advice, do the 31 spline while you are in there if you have the funds available. For that, see Randy in the parts forum, well, nm, as randy fell and had a concussion earlier so he wont be back for a couple days. If you can wait, and I highly suggest you do, talk to him about the 31 spline diff from ford, also, they sell 31 spline axles. All said and done, if you do the installation, it could cost a little less than 500 bucks or so. Now, if you only have the funds for the new axle, once again, Id see what Randy can get one for in his forum. Just be patient as he is at home getting better from his fall.
