I currently am running stock headers, bassani offroad X-pipe, and SLP LM 1 Catback(Sounds like crap getting the power flow mufflers in a week)..but my question is, I am thinking about getting long tube headers..is there any long tube headers that are a direct bolt on to my bassani o/r x pipe or would I have to purchase a new x pipe to use BBK or SLP LT Headers?

I could just take the extra pipeing after the off road pipes off and use that with the SLP LT headers correct?

if u dont like that sound, the LT's would just make it worse IMO. It more so amplifies the sound.
Maybe try flowmaster or prochamber sound? |

Get a catted mid-pipe. LM's are the best sounding exhaust around. Your problem is you have an o/r mid pipe. LM1's + o/r mid-pipe don't sound very good, you need to get cats to take away the raspiness that comes with the hollow mufflers. Powerflows are going to be significantly quieter, just incase you don't want to lose the loudness, just a heads up. Get LM2's before you go all the way down to the powerflows.
And you DO need a SHORTY mid-pipe with long tube headers. Your current x-pipe will not work. And yes, headers will contribute to the sound with a full exhaust, so it will make it even louder. Im going with the BBK Setup + LM1's. Im going catted though to get rid of the raspiness in the LM1's. But it will still be the loudest exhaust system anyone has ever heard. |

^^ See, someone knows =)
Your not going to lose the loudness of the car with the cats either, it will just eat up some of the "bad" sound that comes from the mufflers. You don't think you lose any sound with the cats right MT's #1 Customer? |

umm? you lose alot of sound from cats..when I just had slp lm catback it was a little loud but when i took off the stock h pipe with 4 cats and went o/r X-pipe it was ungodly loud when you turn it on and get to about 2-4000 rpms..But I think I'm going to purchase 2 hi-flo cats and see if that tones down the raspiness it should..

Well yea with stock cats you lose a lot of sound... But you shouldn't with hi-flows, which every aftermarket midpipe uses.
But yes, the hi-flows with tame the rasp... Thats why Im going with them. |

Even with high-flow cats, you will still tone down the sound. Off-road mid-pipes are redicously loud with straight through-style mufflers. And if you switch to long tubes, shorty offroad xpipe, and straight-through mufflers, it gets annoying.

Well I plan on getting some bassani mid length headers in the future so I'm going to go with the power flow mufflers and keep my bassani x pipe o/r.

Like for instance, you said o/r X is very annoying... Ok I have heard the from many people.. So what your saying is hi-flows are a good idea, but it will still be ridiculously loud like I want right? |
