o/r x-pipe or cat x-pipe

So I had my o/r x-pipes on order and after talking with a few people I am being told it is better to have the CAT system. Now I don't have emisions where I am, but have been told back preasure is better with Cat not o/r.

Wanted to get some opinions from you all that have either and what you have run into!!!!

My idea is in florida its all fair game if you dont have mufflers like I do i say get catted. But if you do have mufflers get O/R. In Florida basically the only thing you have to take into consideration is noise level.

well I'm no expert but i have heard that it really doesn't matter if you have back pressure or not. I also have heard you get more HP with the O/R, not to mention better sound. But if i was you since you don't have to deal with emissions i would stick with the off road.

I have flowmaster muff's just was worried about the back preasure issue I have heard. But I am guessing you have not encountured that eh?

You wont have any issues with backpressure issues. No worries

with an off road x-pipe you will get 6-8 horsepower gain from 3000 to 5000 rpm, with a 2-3 HP loss on the low end. Torque max of 10 lb. ft. at 4400 rpm.
So backpressure really only matters at the low-end.

oh trust me you won't have backpressure problems..I have a bassani o/r x pipe with slp lm I catback..and my throttle response is so much better..I can feel it.
