Default Metal PI Intake

Does anybody know where I can get a metal PI intake for my 97 GT?? I've seen the regular plastic ones for sale...but i was wondering if you guys think i should go with the metal one or just stick with the plastic one?? I'm going to be putting the intake with miles per hour 2.5 heads and custom cams....

They just came out with one they are sold at RPM outlet I believe.....i've been waiting for someone to try it out apparently its supposed to give the 99 and above GT motors a 25 hp gain over the plastic PI...but havent seen any dyno results to prove it.

Yeah those numbers look pretty impressive...but hopefully they hold true cuz just like the p-51 says "35" hp, but realistically maybe 10-15??

Youll need to do the PI upgrade for it to work.

just use the plastic one with a TB and plenum, unless you are 500rwhp+ and want a RR, or you want to spend much dinero on a extrude honed bullit

I think the plastic PI intake will suit your needs just fine. It's not worth the extra 600? dollars on the typhoon, use that money for something else.
