x-pipe installation?
 

Does anyone have any suggestions or tips on installing the off road x-pipe?
how long of extentions will i need to get the h-pipe off the stock headers and how do i install the mil eliminators, do i take the plugs off the rear o2 sensors and take the plug off the wiring harness that goes to the computer and stick my steeda mil eliminators in between them?
Anything else would be great!

Use 1/2" drive, 1x 5" 1x12" and a swivel socket for best results. I'd use a breaker bar not a ratchet though. the passenger side can be a real sumbich sometimes. Big time elbow grease.

Mils have to go between your O2's and the the harness FWIR.

Unplug O2's and remove (so you don't busticate them pulling the pipe out).
unbolt and remove/let swing cat-back
unbolt H pipe from headers
remove
reinstall in reverse order.

the bolts that hold the stock H pipe to the headers are the biggest PITA EVER especialy if you are laying on your back in a driveway. Sucks A S S

that's a fact. If you have a lift available to use, this is the time to do it. It's VERY hard to get the required leverage while laying down with a 1/2" breaker bar across your chest.

Yeah i don't have a lift available but I guess I will have to deal with it, I am will spend as much time as it takes to get my car to sound better, i cant wait!. By the way I am installing a Mustang tuning O/R x-pipe to go along with my borla cat back, have you guys heard any good things about them?

yep!! can't wait to put in x-pipe......It better get here by saturday!

The mustang tuning xpipe is just a Pypes xpipe.

yep. I think mustang tuning sounds better or i could switch off between the two.. i dont know
