Saw an article about a SuperCharger. Hope someone saw the same one.

Not that I'm planning on getting it, although the stats made it very tempting to just get it and to deal with sleeping on the couch for a month after I told the wife. Anyways, sorry for the lack of info, but I don't remember the Magazines name or the SuperChargers manufacturer. The mag was a Mustang dedicated one though, and this would have been on the newstand about 1-2 months ago. If I remember correctly, this company typically made SuperChargers, and other perf. mods for Mustangs, but I don't think they did for 2004. Anyway, the article stressed, that the test car was completely 100% stock before the SuperCharger was added, and other than any direct replacement parts needed for installation, it remained stock. I'm pretty sure the HP increase went to 511HP (I know it was over 500, because that was the covers tag line for the article) and I want to say the Torque went into the 400 to 450 range. It took about 12 hours to install. There were two downsides the article said. One was a minor thing. The said any sensible person would next replace the exhaust, because with this SuperCharger, it was like trying to blow bubbles into a drink with a pinched closed straw. The second thing, which was kind of major, but supposedly was already being addressed by the Manf. was that at right about 5,000RPM, the fuel delivery system couldn't keep up, and the engine would just start to simply starve itself of gas. I think they were going to do a seperate fuel management system to allieviate that problem.

Would anyone happen to know either the magazine and/or the SuperCharger from reading my description?

Thanks.

IT WAS ON THE VORTECH, THE KIT NEEDS BIGGER THAN 39LB INJECTORS, 55LB'S WOULD HAVE BEEN A BETTER IDEA,

For the money I'd step up to the P1SC form Procharger, more effecient, more power
