um yea ok ....
um.....when i apply the brake..is it the FRONT brakes breaking..or the rear brakes??? or both????? and...when i park the car and pull up the E-brake..is that the front, rear or both brakes applying?
And yea..dont make fun of me cause I dont know this yet......bastard |
When you depress the brake the front and rear brakes are applied. There is a proportioning valve that divides up the brake pressure between the front and rear that is front brake biased most of the time. Not sure what it is set to(%to front and % to rear) on the stangs. Parking brake locks up the rears.

He said pretty much what it is, but your front brakes are the most important. the percentages are basically all on the front and minimal on the rear.

most cars are set at 70% front 30% rear. and like they said its the rear that has the parking brake on all cars.
