Default fuel lines

welll....im replacing the intake manifold on my 96 gt alright...so i have gotten thus far with no problems...i am just about to take the actual manifold bolts out to take it off but i need to take the fuel lines off of the fuel rails...how do i do this the one line says high pressur the other light pressure is their anything i need to know b4 i just take them off..cuz i can forsee fuel going everywhere when the pressure lets out...their has to bee a better way...

THere should be a valve (like a valvestem) on the end of the rail to release pressure if i'm correct. When I took mine off I learned a lesson the hard way to release the pressure before taking them off. If you dont gas still pressurized to the rail will shoot/leak out.

Ding ding!!

It looks like an air pump nipple. It will be on the front of the rail.

I didnt have to worry about mine when I took my cobras intake off...mainly because the car had been sitting for over a week.
