Default 1998 cobra

I have a 1998 cobra totally stock and i want to enhance the horsepower and performance. What do you recommend i start with if i wanted to sink about a grand into it?

Last time I checked, you cant get a supercharger kit for under 1000 bucks.


Gears, reprogrammer, and full exhaust would be my suggestion.

Oh, lol, you can, you just have to steal it from someone. LOL sorry, missed that. In that case. Definately get the 4.10s and a tune. Dont think you could squeeze full exhaust in, as a set of headers for the 4v start at about 500 bucks. Figure about 500 for gears/install, then maybe a tune. You could prolly squeeze a new midpipe in there.

gears 189.99 + bearing kit 90
and install your lookin at about a grand

Well if you go with the flowtechs, it will prolly fit in budget, just dont forget a speedcal if you dont get a tune.

He doesnt need a speedcal, only a speedo drive gear (~13.00)
