another question about control arms

I am looking to upgrade some more and I am thinking about lower control arms. I drive this car 2-3 times a week and plan to run it at the track in the future being next summer just to see how to have some fun from time to time. Is this a good investment for what I want to do?

Control arms are a great investment. I'd go with Maximum Motorsports adjustables.

They will definately plant the rear of your car. I hate how mine hops around everywhere.

i don't know how well they work or what not but i'd like to get a set of the weight jackers from steeda.. but i don't know if i can justify that kind of money for em...

p3s7_01 12-24-2004 01:45 PM

how much does it cost to install them?

spike_africa 12-24-2004 08:26 PM

nothing do it yourself.

seriusly since when have guys stopped workon on there own cars?

Silvr04GT 12-25-2004 09:57 AM

My vote is for MM, I think they probably have the best suspension stuff going. Depending how much you are looking to spend you should look at one of there rear suspension packages. Oh and when you do LCAs you can rip out your quad shocks.

The ride will get a bit bumpier but last time I checked we drive a Mustang not a Lexus! lol! That's what I always tell people who complain about ride quality after lowering or something like that!

spike_africa 12-27-2004 03:10 PM

Seriusly they are all the same just look they are boxed have polly bushings and and maybe weight less, just get the cheapest ones you can find. same goes for the uppers. of course this is my opinon but just go look at them all they are all the same basicly.
