Higher Idle after Tune...
ever since I had my car dyno tuned with SCT. the idle is at about 800 rpms.(when A/C is on its at 1000rpms!) How do I make it go back down to about 600-650 rpms like it was before the tune? Or should I just leave it to idle at 800rpms???? is that ok?

well mine is exactly the same. With no a/c it idles about 800, and when the a/c is on it idles at 1000 and sometimes moves around lol. if you get the extreme tune software, which is free from sct, you should be able to adjust your idle. i wouldn't even bother though cuz it shouldn't be causing you any problems.

It seems that 800 is a nice round generic number for idle after chipping/tuning. In my situation, I could go lower and I did. So far so good.

Using the extreme tune software and my xtr files, I dropped the idle down to 750, to save a little gas. Just think, the higher the idle, the more gas you are wasting because you are just sitting. I mean, this may be a question for the tuner because they may have set it there for a reason. I don't know your intentions for the car or situation, but for different setups, it may need to idle higher. But anyway, with mine, I dropped the idle a bit, with no problems, and it definately helped my gas. Just food for thought.
