Bullitt gauge cluster into my 99GT - Help!

As the title says
I swapped the stock odometer into a bullitt cluster that I purchased following the instructions from the autometer cluster replacement. Basically it does not work, the theft light is flashing and my car won't start because the ****er thinks I am trying to steal it.
Anyone know how to make this work?
Thanks in advance

Did you try disconnecting the battery for a few minutes? http://www.spacespider.net/emo/dazed004.gif

Yep, I tried that. Thanks for the reply though. I just don't understand why the theft light is flashing, I am assuming that the ignition and cluster are tied but if so, how does the autometer full replacement set up work?

Did you change out the boards?

Nope didn't try that. If I have to change out the whole board, how come I wouldn't with the autometer/simco set up?

You have to change the circuit board from your old board to the one you are installing so that everthing works the way it is supposed too.
