Are you kidding? Just remove the positive side of the battery cable the one with the + on it I beleive the cover has it on their. What ever your resetting you should leave the battery disconnected for about 30 minutes.

And no im not kidding I never had to disconnect a battery. |
Yep just disconnect the positive side that is what supplies the power when the car is not using the altenator. Leave it disconnected for 30 mins and reconnect start the car and see if it cleared whatver the problem was it that easy and won't damage anything. Don't remove the negative side unless your putting in a new battery. It is that easy and anyone else will tell you the same.

I've always disconnected the negative side. Either way there's no circuit anymore and the computer will reset.
I thought it was negative first, that way theres no ground so you dont make sparks when you try to disconnect the pos side...Maybe thats just me...
The safest way to dissconnect a battery is negative first. It's a good idea to turn off the radio before you shut the car down to do it also.
Disconnect the negative. And really it only takes about 15 minutes for the computer to reset itself once disconnected.

LOL i think StangDude is trying to kill me....... :(
no not trying to kill anyone it doesn't hurt a darn thing if you dissconnect your positive side first.
Either way you do it, you'll be fine and wont get shocked.
