Question Recalibrator Insatll

I just finish installing my Ford Racing speedo recalibrator to make up for my gears , and I was curious if anybody else installed this by themself. If so where did you pull the power from. I work at Duthler Ford in Michigan and one of the guys I work with said to go off of the rear tail light power wire. Just curious about how everyone else went about it. Thanks

Yup thats it. I wasnt sure where to get the power from. but isnt the cigarette lighter plug "constant power". Because the recal I have said to splice into "ignition on power". Or would that not matter?

My lighter socket is constant signal so I did it just like the instructions said and it worked fine.
