Hey Team,

Can anybody tell me what normally goes in this "bolthole"? You can't see it unless the alternator is removed and goes into the head. I can't remember removing anything from here when I took the head off but water does come out of here when the engine is running.

 

If I remember right, a cylinder head temp sensor goes there. but mustangs didn't use it

 

So just a bolt and sealant tape to block? I have to put something in there as water comes out when the engine is running.

 

If you have a spare sensor, just stick it in there. Did you overheat the motor? I didn't think it went into a water jacket.
