DIABLO PREDATOR TUNER #U7146 QUESTION
 

hi I just registered and am new to the board. my brother has been on here for awhile. looking to buy a used tuner for my 98 gt from a guy that had it onhis 01. bought a similiar device a few years ago and was a lil diapointed because the only thing it would let me change on my car was the fuel settings and couldnt touch any of the other 'programming' (trans shifts, speed limiter etc.). everything that I have read says you should be able to use the tuner as long as it has been 'unmarried' wich the guy says he has done. I know the best thing to do is plug it in and run through it but just wanted to run it by to (1) see what yall think about the tuner itself and (2) to see if anyone has insight on how exactly the 'marriage' works. thanks

also have a set of BBK lontube headers with a short x-pipe that I'm wanting to install. would have to do the work in my driveway and have read that you have to drop the k member. does anyone have any other suggestions on how to install the longtubes?
