Anyone know a cheap place to get a poly motor and tranny mount kit? Do i really need the poly trans mount or will the stock do? Can i just use poly motor mounts and stock tranny mount ? American Muscle doesnt offer one...Any ideas?.

 

I know I used to see them sold as a kit everywhere. I think energy suspension still does. Most places have gone to selling the motor mounts and tranny mounts separate. just order a motor mount kit, and a tranny mount.

 

Sooo your saying i need both ? I cant just use the poly motor mounts i must have both? i have just over 400 hp...and notice major engine flex.........If i must have both.......Any ideas on where to get the best deal? thx for the responce.

i found the poly motor mounts on Am for $109.00 and on ebay for $100 but im wondering if i need the trans mount as well or not....and if theres anywhere where i can get a deal on motor and a trans mount

 

If you replace one with poly then replace the other one with a poly to so it all has the same amount of movement.

 

AM sells the mount for $109 i found them on ebay for $100..And i wonder why they dont sell the tranny mount for my 01 gt..but not allot of luck for the tranny poly mount the ones i have found are rediculosly priced...Does anyone know where i can find the best deal ? on a combo deal or bought any.ive searched alittle and havent had allot of luck where can i find the best deal on both any help is appreciated..

 

Jegs/Summitt has the Energy Suspension kit. Personally, I feel there's the is the best. If you want to try to find it cheaper, eBay the part number.

I finally got the polys installed ,motor and trans mounts .Motor doesnt move! Works great can feel some vibration ,but not enought to worry about .The diffrence is very noticable,the power is put to the tires and worth it .If you have enough mods ,getting anywhere close to 400hp or over, i recommend these as a must have.
