new exhaust issue
 

I've learned a lot from folks here. Ran into something. I put in a new Pypes SS o/r x-pipe w/ MIL elimin and a Magnaflow cat-back on my 97 GT. Seemed ok at first. After a short trip the CE light came on code P0136 o2 sensor. The idle dropped to about 600rpm in gear at a stop-automatic tranny. Temp has always ran on the low side of normal ,until now. Like I said a short trip (10 miles)and it registered a fair bit warmer than usual but still safe so far. I've noticed that some folks have problems with MIL elim but some say to just ignore the CE light. Wondering if any relation to the trouble code or other possibilities? I'm heat cycling the new system before retightening everything but I didn't hear a noticable leak. Ideas? Thanks

Thats for the rear o2 sensor. I would make sure it has a solid connection on there and reset the ecu and see what happens.

Thanks. Reset.Finally had some time last night to run it on some back roads. No codes. running like a champ. Now I just need to tweak the connections to put the tips where I want'em
