Color coding of injectors
What is the color coding for the injectors?
I been looking at other mustang engines in my club and they have the yellow orange instead of the pinkish red that I have. Does this mean I have the wrong ones or what I have an 2003 gt. Anyone with some knowledge can enlighten me |

The yellowish orange are 19lbers (used til 02). Pink ones are still 19lbers that came on 2003+ GTs. Red are 30lbers. Are yours closer to red or pink?

closer to pink. I've been doing alot of calling on Ford dealships to find out the difference in colors.

why would they put 21#ers in a 4.6 stock? the stock injectors should be 19#ers. and on the newer stangs they are pinkish for some odd reason.

It appears that in the middle of 02, they changed over to pink injectors, but they're still 19lbers.

yeah in 02 they changed the color to pink, but they are still 19#ers. I was like hwy would they add 21#ers then i checked my book and its 19#ers still they just dont use that yellowish color anymore i guess.
