Rhythmic humming that changes with speed ?

It started a couple of months ago on my 2000 GT. Sounds like it's from the front and I can feel it a little through the floor and pedals. The frequency of the hum changes with speed and gets faster as I get faster and slower when I slow down.

I've done the obvious, changed one front wheel bearing, then the other. Made no difference. Now I'm stuck

Any ideas ?

Could be exhaust frequencies. My interior trim will rattle at only certain rpm and it's because the exhaust at a certaint engine rpm.

the only humming I could think of is gearing noise...do you have an aftermarket shifter??? I don't know about the peddles though sorry : ( Doesn't sound like anything to serious though

It could also be (and probably is) wearing tires. My car started doing that a couple months ago. I finally got around to rotating them and the "howling" as I call it has ALL BUT gone away. Yes I still need tires but I aint rich and those tires still have lots of tread on em, so I say screw it and keep on rolling. LOL
