http://www.mustang50magazine.com/tec...wap/index.html it's a good read. Proves the old saying still holds ture: "There is no replacement for displacement" |
HEY!
where ya been! |
You do realize that TurboX2 is the guy that wrote that article right? He's been a regular in the thread for some time now. That article sealed the deal on me doing the swap and bugging HPS for an intake and getting longtubes and all the crap and drama that's come with it. Dan... I hold you personally responsible.
interestingly, he made 226/330 tuned on a stock motor with adapter plates. Here's the follow up article to that where they slapped down some really nice numbers. http://www.mustang50magazine.com/tec...wap/index.html |
LOL
I've got those issues FRAMED and MOUNTED on my wall;) |
Now that more parts have been created for this swap, maybe its time to call 5.0 again and have them do a part 3. This time with the HPS intake, and maybe a set of LT headers.
|
I did that, with hotter cams... made about 30hp more than Dan's car, which is actually kinda disappointing come to think about it.
|
Well not really, It looks like they did all their testing on a chassis dyno. So 30whp is like 60-70hp at the flywheel? thats not bad for just intake and cams.
