gear ratio and 5th gear speed/RPM question.
 

would stock 3:27's on my GT have a speed of 80 miles per hour in 5th gear at 2300 RPM? reason why i am asking is because i want to know if i have stock rear end, i will upgrade to 3:73.

that, and what rims should i go with for my car? would black bullitt wheels look good?

Yes you have stock 3.27 gears with those rpms at that speed.

Do whatever wheels you like its your car. I dont get the whole threads on what wheels should i get etc... I will say that bullitts are getting a bit over done at this point.

yeah, i might stick with the same wheels. i like how they look, and i can put that money towards new cams and heads and LT's. :)

dont forget about a new intake to accommodate the new heads and cams

the intake is custom, using an F-150 airbox, custom cut, and K&N cone filter for the Ram Air hood. the hood is my only intake source, which is a good thing. it brings in cold outside air into the intake. the intake Manifolds are stock though, with stock plenum/throttle body.
