Question MIL Eliminator problems.... HELP

About a month ago I got some MIL's from American Muscule for my 98 GT and the install was very simple. However my check engine light still will not go off and I've tried everything. Checked the wires and all the connection pins, reset the computer by diss. the batt. and no go. Is there a chance that I got some bum eliminators? Anyone know a diff. solution? HEEEELP my inspection is due!!

1. Go to Autozone.
2. Have them read the codes.
3. Have them clear the codes.
4. Drive away with no codes.

Probably a stupid question but did you reset your CEL AFTER you installed the Mil's or did you just hope that the light would go out?

Doesn't matter since the light will turn off after a while.

I suppose. Mine stayed on until I reset the light, that's why I asked.

Since I have headers, I've dealt w/ so many CELs but if something was not wrong, it would just shut off after a while. So, hooking up the MILs and driving the car will eventual turn it off but I'd rather not stare at it and turn it off if the chance arises.
